A community health trust is seeking a Specialist Dental Nurse to join their team in providing excellent patient care in community clinics. The role involves working collaboratively with dental professionals, triaging patients, and providing clinical treatment, including for patients with dental phobias. Candidates must be registered dental nurses and possess excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize, and experience in caring for complex cases. Qualifications

  • Registered Dental Nurse with evidence of current GDC registration.
  • National examining board for dental nurse diploma or NVQ level 3.
  • Experience caring for patients requiring complex dental treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake triage and prioritise clinical need.
  • Provide clinical treatment in a nurse-led clinic.
  • Deliver CBT based interventions for dental phobias.
