Job summary

A community health trust is seeking a Specialist Dental Nurse to join their team in providing excellent patient care in community clinics. Qualifications

  • Registered Dental Nurse with evidence of current GDC registration.
  • National examining board for dental nurse diploma or NVQ level 3.
  • Experience caring for patients requiring complex dental treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake triage and prioritise clinical need.
  • Provide clinical treatment in a nurse-led clinic.
  • Deliver CBT based interventions for dental phobias.

Skills

Experience in NHS dental environment

Education

Registered Dental Nurse with GDC registration
NVQ level 3 or equivalent diploma
CBT qualification (or willingness to complete)
