You will be at the heart of BlackRock's Aladdin, building the platform that drives our and our client’s investment and trading operations. Each day, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and high-performance APIs, collaborating closely with traders, product managers, and fellow engineers to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
Your role will involve troubleshooting technical challenges, optimizing microservices and data pipelines, and continuously researching new technologies to enhance system performance. By mentoring junior engineers and contributing to our team culture, you’ll help ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of mission‑critical trading systems in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

You will be working on BlackRock's investment operating system called Aladdin. Aladdin is used both internally within BlackRock and externally by many financial institutions. Aladdin combines sophisticated risk analytics with comprehensive portfolio management, trading, and operations tools on a single platform to power informed decision‑making and create a connective tissue for thousands of users investing worldwide.
