A leading NHS trust in Leicester seeks a Reproductive Science Associate Practitioner to support embryology and andrology services. Responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment and conducting diagnostic tests. Ideal candidates have laboratory experience and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. Job Title: Reproductive Science Associate Practitioner
Band: 4
Base: You may be required to work in other designated locations of the Trust as well as your primary base. In particular, flexibility is required across the three main hospital sites (Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital). If your initial location is one of these sites excess travel reimbursement would not apply for a permanent or temporary change of base.
Reports to: Senior Embryologist
The Fertility Centre provides diagnostic and treatment services to patients across Leicester and Leicestershire. It is a Human Fertilisation and Embryology (HFEA) licensed centre with ISO 9001:20015 quality management system certification.
The post holder is required to participate in the provision of embryology and andrology services, including operation & maintenance of laboratory equipment, data entry, dish preparation & diagnostic semen analysis. To accurately perform SOP driven duties and tasks in a busy laboratory; the post holder will work under the direction of the state registered laboratory staff, but will be assigned responsibility for specific duties so should be able to work using their own initiative.

The Trust will pay for the check initially and the money will then be deducted from your salary over a three month period commencing on your first month's payment.
The current price of a check is £38 for an enhanced and £18 for a standard check.
