Broker – D&O

• Negotiation and placement of renewal and new D&O and management liability contracts
• Thoughtful use of insurance capacity to deliver optimum results for clients
• Full use of our processes to ensure compliance
• Continued development of insurer relationships
• Provide the highest level of service and technical expertise to clients
• Prepare and lead market presentations
• Provide technical support to our network offices, making use of our in-house legal experts
• Draft, review and issue insurance contracts using appropriate platforms and processes
• Develop our business
• Support and contribute to business development strategies
• Lead or contribute to requests for proposal
• Represent Aon, demonstrating an understanding of corporate objectives

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a fast-paced working environment, with access to Lloyds, the London market, and other Aon facilities to deliver the D&O requirements of Aon’s largest European clients.

• Proven experience gained within the insurance industry at either a Broker or Insurer, with established market relationships and a knowledge of the D&O and/or Financial Institutions markets
• Technical insurance knowledge
• Detailed understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to negotiate with Risk Managers reporting directly to C-Suite within blue chip organisations
• Experience of communicating with sophisticated insurance purchasers within the S&P 500, LSE, Euronext and NYSE
• Excellent understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
