PDI Technician - Leicester
Job summary
A leading automotive service provider in Leicester is seeking a PDI Technician. The role involves carrying out pre-delivery inspections and ensuring adherence to manufacturer procedures. Candidates should have experience as a Technician or Mechanic, ideally with a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and a full UK driving licence. - Ideally hold a relevant qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Possess a full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PDI’s and RI’s according to manufacturer’s procedures.
- Ensure all work follows PDI standard times.
- Coordinate with the parts team for correct vehicle part fitting.

- You will have previous experience working as a Technician / Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector.
- Ideally have a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Or a time served Technician.
- Full UK driving licence.
Ensure PDI’s and RI’s are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with PDI standard times. Work with the parts team to make sure the correct parts are fitted to the vehicles. Confirm that PDI and RI sheets are completed as per manufacturer/customer instructions. Adhere to all relevant Type Approval regulations.
Week 1, Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. Week 2, Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm.
