Job summary
A local educational institution in Coedpoeth is looking for a cleaner to join its team. This is a permanent position requiring 8.75 hours of work per week, from 3.30pm to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in classrooms, bathrooms, and other areas as directed by the Headteacher/Caretaker. The school values teamwork and adherence to health and safety standards. Applicants must undergo a DBS check to be eligible for this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Understanding of health and safety practices related to cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning tasks as directed by the Headteacher/Caretaker.
- Work cooperatively with other cleaners and school staff.
- Use cleaning equipment safely and responsibly.

The school is looking to appoint a cleaner to work as part of the school's cleaning team. The position is to start in January 2026. This is a permanent position, and it is expected that you work every day during the school term. Welsh is not compulsory for this role.
8.75 hours per week, 3.30pm to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year.
G02 £24,413 per year £4,943 (pro rota)
The range of work carried out by the cleaning staff covers the cleaning of all rooms, toilets, corridors, offices and other such areas that are in use at the direction of the Caretaker. You will be expected to:
- Carry out work to the required standard as directed by the Headteacher/Caretaker
- Work cooperatively with the other cleaners and school staff
- Comply with the Council's health and safety practices
- Use cleaning equipment and materials in the prescribed manner, ensuring safe usage and storage
- Carry out any other reasonable work as directed by the Headteacher/Caretaker
