Remote IV Therapy Nurse – Band 6 (Homecare)
Job summary
A leading healthcare company is seeking a Registered Nurse IV Therapy to support patients in their homes. The role involves administering IV therapies, providing training to patients, and working flexibly to meet patient needs. Candidates should have a nursing qualification, relevant experience in intensive care or general surgery, and possess excellent communication abilities. Qualifications
- Intensive Care or High dependency General surgery nursing experience at a level equal to Band 5.
- Current clinical experience of at least the last 2 years.
- Competent in managing PN and other IV Therapies.
- Competent in the care of CVADs.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed IV therapies and support to patients.
- Provide training and education to patients and carers.
- Participate in the on-call rota for out of hours queries.
- Support the installation of new TransCare patients.
