A healthcare integration company is seeking a remote Integration Engineer to design and troubleshoot HL7-based interfaces, ensuring seamless data movement in healthcare systems. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in healthcare integration, a keen eye for detail, and strong problem-solving abilities. This mid-senior level position offers the opportunity to significantly impact patient outcomes with flexible work hours.
We’re after an Integration Engineer. Not the “integrating personalities at team lunches” type. More the one who actually makes healthcare systems talk to each other, without throwing a tantrum.
You’ll design and troubleshoot HL7-based interfaces, get elbows-deep in Mirth, and make sure healthcare data moves smoothly between systems (in the fascinating world of Digital Pathology where your work makes a real difference to patient outcomes).
Think translator, mechanic, and problem-solver rolled into one.
You’ll be the calm in the chaos when integrations misbehave.
✅ Testing, validating, checking data integrity, that’s your natural habitat.
✅ XML, JSON, APIs? You probably dream in them 😃 (ok that's a little obsessive)
🌍 It’s fully remote, but UK-based ONLY (no visa sponsorship, sorry).
🕛 You’ll work regular hours, with a bit of flexibility when project deadlines refuse to behave.
You’ve likely got at least three years of healthcare integration experience (Massive bonus points for integrations NHS or Digital Pathology), a sharp eye for detail, & a knack for turning complex systems into simple solutions that just work.
If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
