Mid‑term fixed‑term contract until March 2027 supporting clinical trial patients across Mid and South Essex. Based primarily at Broomfield Hospital site, you will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, working to provide excellent care to clinical trial and oncology & hematology patients throughout the Trust. Cross‑site working will be required.

- To work under the direction of the Principal Pharmacist for Clinical Trials to ensure pharmacy are in a position to support the Research & Development Strategy.
- To work with the clinical trials and oncology teams to enable streamlined set‑up of clinical trials across all specialities.
- To clinically screen oncology and haematology prescriptions.
- To clinically screen and check clinical trial prescriptions.
- To ensure Medicines Management Standards are met within the Clinical trials and Oncology and Haematology Services.
- To work in accordance with the principles of Good Clinical Practice.
- To be actively involved in the clinical governance aspects of the pharmaceutical service.

- Registered pharmacist
- Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent experience)
- Post‑graduate qualification in oncology pharmacy
- Previous NHS hospital experience
- Experience working in clinical trials
- Experience working within oncology and haematology
