Job summary
A leading game development studio in Brighton is seeking a Lead VFX Artist to define artistic standards and guide a team in producing visually stunning effects. Candidates should have at least 7 years of VFX experience, including 2 shipped AAA titles, along with expert proficiency in Unreal Engine 5. This role combines creativity, leadership, and technical skills, and requires being on-site at least 3 days a week.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of VFX experience, including 2 shipped AAA titles.
- Expertise in UE5 including Niagara and shaders.
- Proven team management and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Drive innovation in VFX using UE5’s features.
- Manage and mentor a VFX team.
- Integrate VFX into gameplay and cutscenes.
