Skills
First Time Finance is expanding, and we’re looking for a highly organised, detail-driven Mortgage Paraplanner to play a key role in supporting our advisers and helping our clients move closer to owning their first home in the UK.
If you’ve got at least 1 year of experience in mortgage admin or paraplanning — and you have a keen eye for detail, persevere even when success looks unlikely, and love to solve problems for clients — we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll be right at the heart of the advice process, ensuring cases are placed successfully, documents are assessed correctly, and our advisers are fully supported to deliver an exceptional service.
- Reviewing client documents (ID, payslips, bank statements, visas) for accuracy and lender criteria fit
- Completing lender affordability checks and running product sourcing
- Managing our AIP Process
- Keeping clients updated to ensure a smooth and stress‑free journey
- Working directly with one adviser
- 1+ year experience in a mortgage admin, case manager, or paraplanning role
- Strong understanding of the mortgage process, lender documentation, and affordability assessments
- Confident using lender portals and online systems
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and able to manage a busy pipeline
- Excellent communicator with a client‑first attitude
- Proactive, detail‑focused, and eager to solve problems!
- Remote working with quarterly London team events - with all expenses paid for
