You will join BU Offshore Generation in the Supply Chain and Maintenance Systems Department, Maintenance Systems Improvement team, focusing on optimizing operational processes through SAP service execution for both onshore and offshore wind operations. In an international environment, you’ll collaborate across Stockholм, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, and Kolding to harmonize system solutions and ensure seamless end-to-end processes for wind operations.

Your role

As the Systems Expert, you will be the central authority on designing, deploying, and optimizing maintenance system solutions – primarily around SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and MM (Materials Management) – for onshore and offshore wind operations. In this role you will act as:

• System Project Manager
• Lead Key User
• Portfolio Manager
• Implementation Advisor

Work closely with the Business Demand Manager to chart the strategic direction for Maintenance Systems, drive continuous improvement, and foster collaboration across IT, Supply Chain, Operations/Site teams, Integrated Operations, Engineering and Finance. Responsibilities include owning maintenance system solutions for wind (PM/MM), defining project and systems solution roadmaps, representing user needs in configurations, shaping and prioritizing the development portfolio, and guiding best practices. Translate technical insights into clear project requirements and bridge operations and technology to scale processes, improve data-driven decision-making, and enhance maintenance solutions.

• Project Management: Set up project teams, define plans, conduct stakeholder/risk analyses, and manage projects within Maintenance Systems. Coordinate readiness reviews, cutover plans, and go-live support to ensure a smooth production transition.
• Maintenance Systems Authority: Own system solutions for wind maintenance (PM/MM). Serve as Lead Key User for the SAP solution in BA Wind (service execution & supply chain). Advise project teams on maintenance systems setup, lead business assessments, and initiate change requests as needed.
• Portfolio & Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with the Business Demand Manager to develop and prioritize the Wind Maintenance Systems improvement portfolio. Engage IT, Integrated Operations, Finance, Engineering, and site teams to gather requirements and address challenges.
• Implementation & Continuous Improvement: Identify issues, propose solutions, and recommend process changes based on project analyses. Document lessons learned and refine workflows to align with standards.
• Agile Sprint Management: Drive sprint planning with an iterative approach to SAP functionality enhancements. Work with IT to manage development backlogs and gather cross-stakeholder feedback.

You are a driven professional who combines SAP PM/MM expertise with strategic, forward-thinking project delivery. You excel at transforming complex operational needs into streamlined solutions and building collaborative relationships across Finance, Engineering, site personnel, and IT. With an agile mindset and portfolio management skills, you prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Fluent in English, you communicate technical insights clearly, motivate others with structured problem-solving, and deliver tangible results for onshore and offshore wind operations. You thrive in a setting where you can shape and elevate maintenance systems for renewable energy.

Next to this, you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering or a scientific discipline).

• At least 5 years in a similar role with proven know-how in wind O&M daily operations.
• Expert user of SAP PM/MM modules, capable of guiding implementation and troubleshooting.

• Demonstrated success driving complex projects and managing stakeholder expectations in an international setting.
• Agile-minded, skilled in sprint management and iterative solution development.

• High proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., Danish, German) are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to build trust-based cross-functional relationships.
• Structured approach with excellent communication to guide varied stakeholders.
