A reputable law firm in Colchester is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to manage a varied caseload. Responsibilities include advising clients on property transactions, drafting contracts, and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate has 2+ years' PQE in commercial property law and strong negotiation and drafting skills. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join our respected and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload and contribute to the continued success of one of the region’s leading firms.
- Advising clients on all aspects of commercial property transactions, including:
- Sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold property
- Property development and strategic land projects
- Commercial landlord and tenant matters (leases, renewals, break clauses)
- Portfolio and estate management
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and ancillary documents
- Managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service
- Supporting corporate transactions involving property elements
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in commercial property law
- Strong technical knowledge of property transactions and landlord/tenant issues
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client care skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and as part of a team
- Commercial awareness and proactive approach to business development
