Job summary
A leading technology firm in Coventry is looking for a Test Technician to join its QA team. This role involves setting up and monitoring tests, handling samples, and operating complex mechanical testing equipment. The ideal candidate holds an Associates Degree in mechanical or materials science and has a keen attention to detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualifications
- Good general education including English and Math.
- Practical, hands-on experience in a mechanical testing environment preferred.
- Understanding of recognized Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Set up, monitor and measure tests, recording data.
- Ensure correct handling and storage of test samples.
- Operate complex mechanical testing equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and report results.
