An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Business Support Administrator to join our existing team within Gedling District.
Gedling Family Hub Network (including, but not limited to, Netherfield Family Hub, NG4 2HU, Calverton Family Hub NG14 6JZ, Arnbrook Family Hub NG5 8NE, Killisick Family Hub NG5 8BY)
This is a great time to join our teams as locally we are transforming our Children’s Centre Service into Family Hub Networks. Our work with children 0-5 years, and their families, remains part of our core offer, and we continue to expand our service offer to 0-19 years.
You will also need to be skilled in using a range of IT software including MS Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint; training will be given on specialist systems that are used within the service. The role requires accurate data inputting and awareness of confidentiality and the General Data Protection Regulations.
Please note that this is an office‑based role due to the need of welcoming families with children, and young people into the building. You will need a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (a taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this); you will also need to travel between sites.
The work pattern for this role will be Monday – Thursday, with three days 08:30 am – 04:30 pm and one day 08:30 am – 05:00 pm.
Any queries relating to the role can be sent directly to Kate Nolan – Business Support Officer, kate.nolan@nottscc.gov.uk.
Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full‑time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
Nottinghamshire County Council strives to ensure that it goes beyond the requirements of the Equalities Act and prides itself on being accredited as a Disability Confident Leader Organisation.
Therefore, the County Council encourages applications from all, irrespective of gender, marital status, disability, race, religion, belief, pregnancy and maternity status, age or sexual orientation.
