About Mayfield ClinicMayfield Clinic is a leading provider of private general practice, offering evidence-based, patient-centred healthcare outside the NHS. Founded in Oxford in 2009, we have since expanded into London and are now bringing our high-quality private GP services to Cambridge. Our model allows GPs to practise unhurried, high-quality medicine, supported by modern digital systems for efficient patient management.

The RoleWe are looking for an experienced and self-sufficient GP to join our expanding team in Cambridge. This role offers the opportunity to practise independent, high-quality medicine without NHS constraints. Our GPs handle consultations, diagnostics, blood tests, and vaccinations *without *nurse support, ensuring continuity of care. The role starts at a minimum of two sessions per week, with an expectation of increased availability as the patient base grows. Clinicians must be available for at least 47 weeks per year to ensure continuity of care for our patients.

You will provide private GP services to patients across Cambridge and the surrounding areas, meeting the increasing demand for high-quality, accessible private healthcare.

Who We're Looking For

• GMC-registered GP with a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience
• Confident managing a full range of primary care presentations
• Skilled in phlebotomy, vaccinations, and minor procedures
• Empathetic and pragmatic, with excellent listening and diagnostic skills
• Self-sufficient and comfortable working without nurse support
• Familiarity with Cambridge and the wider area is an advantage
