Job summary
A leading independent foodservice wholesaler in the UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative for the night shift. The role involves preparing customer orders, safely storing items, and checking stock for damages. Candidates must have experience in a similar role, good communication skills, and be physically active. The company offers a permanent contract, opportunities for progression, and a range of benefits including annual leave and a profit-share scheme.

Responsibilities
- Preparing customer orders for loading onto lorries.
- Store items safely in designated locations.
- Check for damaged or short-dated stock.

Salary: £25,400.00 per annum
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent people skills, as well as being a great team player
- Good communication skills
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
- A good standard of spoken English
- Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries
- Store items safely in the correct location
- Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required
- Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required
- Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items
- 28 days paid annual leave (including Bank Holidays), increasing to 33 days with length of service
