A prominent gas services company is seeking a Lead Gas Engineer to join their Emergency Response Team in Belper. You will be the face of the brand, attending to gas emergencies and ensuring customer safety. This varied role includes installation and maintenance of gas meters and requires a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. The position offers competitive salary and benefits, with the expectation of working a shift rota, including weekends and unsociable hours.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills and calmness under pressure.
  • Experience working within a gas environment.
  • Good knowledge of gas appliances and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first on the scene for gas emergencies.
  • Work with emergency services on behalf of customers.
  • Installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters.
