Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Children's Home

- Manage house budget and resources efficiently

- Develop staff professionally and support young people in placement

- Ensure high-quality care, welfare, safety, and security

- Maintain compliance with regulations and policies

- Represent the organisation at various forums

Requirements:

- 21 years of age or older

- Experience in a senior role in children's residential care

- Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Service or equivalent

- GCSE in Maths and English at C Grade or above

- Leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and organizational abilities

- Knowledge of Child Protection, Safeguarding, and relevant regulations

- Driver's license and ability to drive

- Additional qualifications and skills are desirable

Duties:

- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies

- Provide effective leadership and support to staff

- Implement safeguarding policies and procedures

- Work with multidisciplinary teams to support children's needs

- Ensure a sensitive and appropriate residential service for young people

- Manage staff performance, training, and development

- Participate in on-call duties and attend meetings

- Continuously improve home documents and practices
