We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are enthusiastic, resilient, and experienced working with children and young adults with additional learning needs in a childcare setting. Full‑time availability is desirable, but part‑time applicants are welcome.

Education Supply Pool works with a variety of schools in Caerphilly and surrounding areas. Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales, supporting and motivating children and meeting their specific needs. Candidates with a valid UK driver’s licence and vehicle access will have expanded opportunities.

• A minimum Teaching Assistant pay rate of at least £90
• A team with over twenty years’ experience in both local and national education agencies

• Minimum of 3 months experience within a UK Primary/Secondary school or childcare setting
• Experience working with children/young adults with additional learning needs is required
• Attentive to the unique needs of students and able to identify appropriate solutions when children encounter issues
• Committed and dedicated to the position, even in potentially challenging roles
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude
• Provide simulated activities while ensuring hygiene and safety rules
• Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed

We are a preferred supplier on the Welsh Government’s National Teacher Framework, offering day‑to‑day and long‑term positions throughout the school year. All candidates will undergo a vetting process, including two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
