A mental health charity is seeking to hire a Peer Support Worker to enhance mental health care within communities. You will collaborate with NHS colleagues to provide support in individual and group settings, managing your own caseload to aid recovery. The ideal candidate should have lived experience with mental health issues and knowledge of relevant services. This role offers a part-time fixed term position, with a competitive salary and requires strong time management and teamwork skills.

22.5 hours per week (Mondays and Tuesdays 9 am to 5 pm, Wednesday midday to 8 pm)
£15,187.50 to £16,361.15 per annum (£24,975 to £26,905 full‑time equivalent) – Solent Mind Band B

Working with our NHS colleagues and Solent Mind to provide Peer Support within local communities to enhance mental health care at both Primary and Secondary level.
You will work with people in one‑to‑one and group settings, including managing your own caseload of service users, to support their recovery and help them access the support they need.
You will support people to develop and use a range of skills and techniques to help their wellbeing through short‑term goal focused support, and enable service users to take control of their own recovery.
Solent Mind is the largest mental health charity in Hampshire.
