Job summary
A leading educational institution in Redditch seeks a Science Laboratory Technician to provide technical and practical support for the Science Department. This role involves preparing materials, setting up equipment for practical lessons, and assisting non-specialists. Candidates should be enthusiastic and motivated, with previous laboratory experience desirable. The school emphasizes inspirational teaching and skill development, fostering academic success for students.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Provide practical and technical support for teaching within the Science Department.
- Prepare materials and set up equipment for practical sessions.
- Support non-specialists and trainees with demonstrations.
Skills
16 hours per week - Term Time Only
We have an immediate vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated person to take on the role of Science Technician within the school.
The role will be to provide practical and technical support for teaching and learning within the Science Department, including the preparation of materials, setting up of equipment for class practical sessions and maintaining equipment for use.
The successful candidate will also be supporting non specialists and trainees with demonstrations and class practicals. Previous knowledge/experience of working within a laboratory environment is desirable.
