Job summary
A leading luxury elderly care provider in the UK seeks a Dementia Care Manager to manage the overall care community and implement dementia care strategies. This role involves ensuring accurate care plans, working closely with families and activities teams, and promoting resident independence. Ideal candidates must have at least three years of experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of CQC standards, and knowledge of the UK health and social care market.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role, working within a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of CQC standards and requirements.
- Knowledge of the UK health and social care market.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall dementia community and implement care strategies.
- Ensure accurate care plans and manage conflict with residents' families.
- Collaborate with the Activities Team to develop resident activities.
- Promote independence and quality of life for residents.
