MCS Group are delighted to partner with a leading organisation to recruit an L&D Specialist, a pivotal role focused on designing impactful onboarding experiences, enhancing employee capability, and shaping a culture of continuous development.

The role:
  • Design and deliver structured onboarding programmes tailored to roles and departments.
  • Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning and handbooks.
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding sessions for new employees.
  • Partner with managers to align role‑specific training with business needs.
  • Collect feedback from new hires and managers to measure programme effectiveness.
  • Analyse data and metrics to drive continuous improvement in onboarding.
  • Collaborate with HR, Recruitment and leaders to ensure cultural alignment and compliance.
The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or employee training.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and modern training methodologies.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
