Yard Operative – SJB Research

Night Shift: Monday – Friday 22:00 to 06:00

Pay: £16.93 per hour

Overtime (over 37.5 hours): £25.39 per hour

Sunday Rate: £33.85 per hour

Overview

Accept Recruitment is looking for reliable and hard-working Yard Operatives to join our client’s team based in Coalville (LE67). You will be working in a busy timber frame factory yard, assisting with loading and unloading roof trusses and timber panels, and ensuring materials are stored, tied, and organised safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading roof trusses and timber frames safely.
• Tying and securing timber for storage and transport.
• Assisting with general yard duties such as stacking, sorting, and moving stock.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous yard, production, or construction experience preferred.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Own transport required due to shift times.
