Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Workshop Manager to join our team on-site at our Cardiff facility. The Workshop Manager will oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring workflows are efficient and projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining equipment, delivering high-quality fabrication standards, monitoring health and safety compliance, and liaising with clients to meet production requirements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing resources and driving operational success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in workshop and team management, including supervising a team, delegating tasks, and monitoring workshop productivity.
• Expertise in metal fabrication processes, equipment maintenance, and effective work scheduling to meet production goals.
• Understanding of health and safety standards, quality assurance practices, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and collaborate with team members.
• Problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills to address challenges and ensure continuous process improvement.
