Work Experience at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) – Birmingham

Summary: The NEC Group offers a two-week work experience for care leavers, including career insights, employability support, free lunches, and high street vouchers.

Details:

NEC Group is the UK’s leading live events business, operating in exhibitions, conferences, music, sports, family entertainment, and hospitality.

To support care leavers, NEC has developed a two-week work experience program that helps participants understand what it's like to work at the NEC and in the events sector, learn about available job roles, and explore career progression opportunities.

The program also aims to develop employability skills and assist participants in creating quality CVs and job applications.

Participants will be provided with protective clothing if needed, lunch, and upon completion, will receive recognition and high street vouchers.
