Salary: £19,947.20 per annum (FTE: £24,934.00)
We’re looking for a Senior Food Services Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team in the College Dining Room at West Dean. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our student community, the dining room is at the heart of College life, and you’ll play a key role in making sure every service runs smoothly.
This is a hands‑on supervisory role where you’ll support daily operations, lead and motivate a small team of Food Services Assistants, and ensure our students enjoy a welcoming and high‑quality dining experience. You’ll set the standard on the floor, work closely with the kitchen team, and take responsibility for keeping service flowing.

Experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a busy dining or catering setting.
Supervisory or team leader experience.
Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional approach.
Organised, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.
Food Safety Level 1 and Allergen Awareness.
