Overview

We are recruiting for a Welder with experience in both MIG and TIG welding to join our busy furniture production team and work in our Welding Workshop in Larling, Norfolk.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using MIG and TIG processes to high quality standards.
• Fabricate components with the ability to cut, weld, form, and make jigs; read and interpret drawings.
• Assemble metal furniture and table bases with attention to detail.
• Use measurement tools to take accurate measurements (e.g., table tops).
• Manual handling as required, with adherence to safety guidelines.
• Carry out any other duties as required by Warings Furniture Limited.

Qualifications and Skills

• Good welding skills (both MIG and TIG).
• Practical fabrication experience and ability to read drawings.
• Hands-on knowledge of assembling metal furniture and bases.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills for accurate measurement.
• Ability to use measuring tools to take accurate measurements.
• Team player with a flexible approach to working time to meet production deadlines and peak workloads.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and commitment to Health and Safety requirements.
• Keen eye for detail to produce high-quality work.
