A local healthcare provider in Denny is seeking a Weekend Domestic Assistant to maintain a clean and safe environment at Strathcarron Hospice. The role involves daily cleaning duties and providing meal services to patients. Applicants should preferably have a working knowledge of food hygiene and prior domestic experience. We are seeking to recruit a weekend Domestic Assistant to join our Domestic team in maintaining a safe, healthy and clean environment in the homely surroundings of Strathcarron Hospice.
Duties will include out daily, weekly and periodic cleaning duties and will involve providing a meal and beverage service to patients.
The post is subject to a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check.
All new employees will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months, during which performance and suitability for the role will be assessed.

You should be able to work effectively as part of a team and preferably have a working knowledge of food hygiene, infection control and safe moving and handling.
Previous domestic experience is preferable.
Training and supervision will be an integral part of the post holder’s development.
