Job description

We’re looking for a talented mid-level web developer with PHP experience to join our growing technology team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain user-facing features for websites and web applications.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to implement new features and improve product functionality.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of code
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements

A solid understanding of CMSs, Templating languages and frameworks such as Twig, Vue.js and component-based design methodologies.

  • Must have previous agency or software company experience
  • PHP development and package management essential
  • Understanding of rendering pipelines and the DOM
  • Working knowledge of Git, Jira and a modern IDE
  • Working with APIs
  • Communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • A team player

Please note that this is a hybrid position. The successful candidate will be expected to work two days a week, at a minimum, on-site at our office in Guildford.
The interview process is 3 stages and will include an in-person working/coding session.

Salary: £Neg based on experience.
