Warehouse Shift Manager

DCS Group, the UK’s leading distributor, manufacturer and exporter of health, beauty and household brands, is looking for a proactive Warehouse Shift Manager to join our fast‑paced Banbury operation.

As part of our warehouse leadership team, you will oversee the day‑to‑day running of Bendi, Yard, Export, Goods Out and Picking activities. You will manage staff and resources, plan workloads, ensure SOP compliance, and maintain high operational standards across your shift. A strong focus on Health & Safety, equipment availability and continuous improvement is essential, as is the ability to brief teams clearly and maintain effective communication with managers and colleagues.

You will monitor performance, support training, handle issues proactively and ensure all GDP requirements for medicines and medical devices are met. Working closely with Operations Management and HR, you will contribute to a safe, efficient and positive working environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution leadership
  • FLT licences (Counterbalance & Bendi)
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
  • Working knowledge of WMS, Sage and warehouse systems
  • IOSH Managing Safely and understanding of safe working practices
  • Ability to motivate teams and drive performance
