As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Operator at our site in Ditton, undertaking general duties associated with receipt, sampling, movements of raw materials and despatch of finished goods to the UK Centre of Excellence facility, to further distribute to our global network of customers.

You will be responsible for ensuring timely preparation of finished material for sales, despatching order to agreed standards, stowing of material into appropriate storage areas in line with agreed warehouse controls and effectively prioritising work that supports the wider Croda network.

Requirements

• Ability to work both within a dedicated team & autonomously
• Hold a valid RTITB REACH Truck and FLT licence with at least 1yrs experience
• Able to demonstrate an attention to detail and good understanding of documentation / quality checks
• Work safely and accurately within set deadlines
• Good standard of numeracy
• Have passion, enthusiasm, optimistic working attitude, team spirit and be self-motivated
• Punctual and adaptable
• Experience working in a similar environment is desirable but not essential
• Computer literate including use of SAP system is desirable but not essential

What You’ll Be Doing

• Staging of materials to and from plant production areas to support product manufacture, working closely with the production and planning teams
• Delivering high standards in health & safety and quality as part of the day to day running of the warehouse / site areas
• To prepare Finished Goods for dispatch and transfer to the appropriate area for transport
• To stow material into appropriate storage areas
• Complete routine inspections of the Warehouse
• To present all prepared documentation to hauliers
• Ensure all required documentation is returned for processing and filing
• Receipt Goods within the system and confirm data accuracy
• Assist in inventory counts
