Qualifications

  • Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to understand Health & Safety and manual handling practices.
  • Familiarity with warehouse systems (ERP/MRP) is preferred.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,477

Work Base: Chacewater, Truro

Core Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 12:30pm on Friday

Join the Kensa Team as a Warehouse Operator! Kensa is leading the transformation of heating across the UK through innovative low‑carbon technologies. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials that supports our mission to deliver sustainable heat pump solutions for homes, businesses, and communities.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Replenishing the shop floor to avoid material shortages
  • Receiving and processing deliveries accurately and on time
  • Safely storing materials using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles
  • Picking, packing, and putting away stock with a high level of accuracy
  • Maintaining up-to-date inventory records using our systems
  • Supporting cycle counts and stock audits
  • Working closely with production and logistics teams to meet dispatch deadlines
  • Preparing outbound shipments to ensure goods arrive in perfect condition
  • Keeping work areas tidy and organised in line with 5S standards
About You
  • Experience working in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and manual handling practices
  • Comfortable using warehouse systems (ERP/MRP) or willing to learn
  • Forklift (counterbalance) licence is desirable but not essential – training can be provided
  • Well organised, reliable, and able to manage your time effectively
  • A positive team player who communicates clearly and supports others
