Job summary

A community support organization is seeking a Volunteer Counsellor/Therapist, who will work as part of the Talking Therapies Programme. This role offers comprehensive support from the Programme Manager and Coordinator, alongside a Safeguarding Lead during on-call hours. We invite volunteers with accredited therapeutic training or those currently in training to join our mission of empowering individuals in need. Please note the application deadline is January 9, 2026.

Our counselling service aims to empower people as part of our Talking Therapies Programme. As a Talking Therapies counsellor/therapist, you will receive regular support from the Talking Therapies Programme Manager and Talking Therapies Coordinator, as well as having a Safeguarding Lead for support during on-call hours.

We welcome volunteer counsellors/therapists from a wide range of modalities and with varying skills and experience. We require that applicants have accredited therapeutic training or are currently undertaking accredited training.
