Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon with a focus on primary care and surgery? My client based in Wiltshire, invites you to join a dynamic and supportive team that values your expertise and fosters professional growth. At this established veterinary hospital, exceptional veterinary care is a cornerstone, encompassing everything from routine consultations to advanced referral services. The hospital boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a CT scanner, ultrasound and x-ray suites, extensive operating theatres, a dentistry suite, and a well-equipped laboratory. The multi-disciplinary team includes specialists in Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Surgery, ECC, and Neurology, ensuring a comprehensive approach to animal care.
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you will work within a collaborative environment, primarily based at the main hospital with rotations through the consulting-only branches. The role offers a balanced schedule of 40 hours per week over four days, with a 1 in 8 weekend rota and minimal on-call duties, thanks to the on-site ECC team. This structure allows for a healthy work-life balance, with two days off in lieu following weekend work. Join a team of 13 dedicated vets who thrive on communication and teamwork.
