Mainstone Veterinary Clinic, Romsey, Romsey, South East

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team here at Mainstone Vets. You will work alongside our fantastic receptionists on a part‑time basis.

Your role will involve:

• Booking appointments
• Taking payments, cashing up
• Answering telephone calls
• Relaying messages to the team in a timely fashion
• Replying to emails

Mainstone Vets strives to provide the best personalised care for its clients and their patients. We are a growing practice that has deep roots within the local community of Romsey. We are constantly investing in and improving the facilities we use to care for our patients, as well as our staff. We pride ourselves on our personal approach to our cases and our communication around treatment and options. We are ideally located in the beautiful Broadlands Estate within easy reach of the M27.

We are a friendly practice of 5 vets, 6 veterinary nurses, and 4 receptionists who are looking for another friendly face to help out.

We socialise regularly, from working in the practice garden, to team BBQs, nights out and actively engage with our local community, attending many shows (Dogstival, New Forest Show and Romsey Show), running open days and doing talks at local schools.

You will work Monday 1 pm – 5 pm, Wednesday 8:30 am – 2:30 pm, Thursday 2 pm – 7 pm and a 5-hour shift on a Friday covering either AM or PM on a rotating rota. You will also be required to cover 1:4 Saturdays between 8 am – 1 pm.
