Job description

Are you a dedicated and compassionate veterinary nurse looking for a calm overnight role? Join our friendly team at our independent hospital, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care in state-of-the-art facilities.

What you’ll do:

• Provide high-quality care for inpatients throughout the night
• Unlike many night nurse positions that require continuous night long clinical work, this is a low-workload overnight role, where you are able to sleep for much of the shift. You will oversee a small number of inpatients (usually 0-5) and attend to them when needed.
• Shift pattern 7 nights on 7 nights off.
• Monitor patient wellbeing and respond to any needs or emergencies
• Administer treatments and medications as directed
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and smooth handovers to the day team
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all patients
• Support the day team to ensure clean and tidy working environment.
