A vehicle conversion company in Walsall is seeking a Vehicle Conversion Technician to fabricate bespoke parts and perform various modifications. Job Title: Vehicle Conversion Technician

Pay: £17 per hour

Location: Walsall

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate bespoke parts and assemblies.
  • Perform glass fitment and removal and refitting of interior trims.
  • Work to detailed vehicle build specifications.
  • Complete general modifications to original vehicle builds.
  • Fit and assemble metal, wood, and laminate components according to customer specifications.
  • Use site equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional workshop environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and basic cutting machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, instructions, and diagrams.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure.
Benefits
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Friday 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Contract: Ongoing contract, paid via a limited company or umbrella company (outside of IR35).
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve NVVP1 and BPSS security clearance.
