Administrator – Operational Administrator

The Administrator is responsible for supporting the operational side of the business. This role involves various tasks, including managing inventory, pre planning to ensure optimum workshop efficiency and effectiveness and supporting in the general day to day running of the site.

Hours

Minimum of 30 hours with potential for the role to develop into a full time position

Main tasks of job
  • Managing inventory of tools, parts and equipment, and ordering new stock as needed
  • Working with partners and suppliers, ordering parts in advance of all customer bookings, ensuring efficiency throughout the business
  • Updating the customer database to ensure data accuracy and GDPR compliance
  • Maintains positive relationships with customers, team members and suppliers to ensure great communication and customers that return
  • Knowledgeabout products and servicespreferable
  • Assisting sites with administrative tasks including tracking log, site depts, and data entry
  • Responding to enquiries using various sources including face to face, email, and over the phone
  • Supporting diaryefficiency
  • Consulting with technicians for timescales in order to keep customers informed and up to date
  • Invoicingand taking payments
  • Credit card accounts submissions and reconciling statements
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
