Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of NVQ level 5 in utility mapping and surveying.
• Prior experience in a similar role.
• Familiar with the utilities industry standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist site utility surveyors with utility mark ups to PAS128 standard.
• Ensure accurate information is given to the excavation team.
• Inspect works regularly to follow permit to disturb ground processes.
• Approve permits in absence of the Permit Controller.

Skills

Familiar with cable detection equipment

Excellent knowledge of safe working methods

Communication skills

Understanding of PAS128 and coding system

Proficient in AutoCAD

Education

NVQ level 5 in utility mapping and surveying
