# University Assistant/Associate Professor in RoboticsApplications are invited for a University Assistant/Associate Professor in Robotics. The successful candidate will join the Information Engineering Division. The candidate will lead a research programme in the broad area of robotics.We invite applications from exceptionally qualified candidates to lead a world-class research program in Intelligent Robotics and Autonomous Systems. We seek visionary scholars driving foundational research in areas such as Advanced Sensing and Perception, Robotic Control and Cognition, Robot Dexterity (e.g. manipulation and locomotion), and Embodied Intelligence and Machine Learning. A substantial research focus in one or more of the following frontier areas is highly desirable: Embodiment and Design (Soft, Bio-Inspired, Modular / Reconfigurable, and Nanorobotics); Human-Robot Collaboration (HRI, Shared Autonomy, Personal Robotics); and Multiagent Systems (Swarm Robotics, Decentralized Control).
