Job summary

Job description
What you’ll be doing:
  • You’ll join an exciting team who work throughout the whole Submarine life cycle, from concept through to activities with the operational fleet.
  • Supporting the Structural Design of Submarines.
  • Outfit design – including sheet metal, deck coverings, furniture, and fittings, to ensure a habitable submarine environment.
  • Designing equipment to withstand shock and dynamic movements of the submarine whilst in operation.
  • Lifting Arrangement Design and oversight of submarine movements.
  • Structural and Stress Analysis.
