Job summary

A dynamic role as a training coordinator is available at a renowned company in the automotive sector. This position involves supporting the training and development department, managing course scheduling and enrolments for numerous dealerships, and establishing key relationships to ensure successful training outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong admin skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and excellent communication abilities, with a background in learning and development or the automotive field being advantageous. This hybrid role requires presence in the office three days a week in Epsom, with remote work for the rest.

Job description

The overall aim of the training coordinator role is to support the training and development department for one of RTS Group’s renowned clients. The role requires organisation and scheduling of learning delivery (both face-to-face and virtual classrooms) as well as enrolling the various personnel from the 167 dealerships in the UK onto the courses. The role will include setting up virtual classroom sessions and liaising with both attendees and trainers. They will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with the relevant members of staff in each of the retailers. Excel knowledge is required for this role, to report and update on completion progress, training targets and ad hoc projects.

Location: Hybrid – 3 days office in Epsom Surrey, 2 days work from home

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Review meetings with each retailer to discuss progress, completion and support where required from the client.
  • Relaying data and information from reports identifying where enrolments are lagging and where new training has been introduced.
  • Requesting bookings to be made onto VCTs and in-person training days.
  • Monitoring and reporting on learning pathway progress.
  • Liaising with RTS Group Project Manager on booking trainers and venues.
  • Responding to queries on the LMS system.

Skills & Experience

  • Admin experience preferred
  • Excellent aptitude for Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must-have
  • Automotive and L&D experience is beneficial
  • Experience in a related role also beneficial
