A local youth organization in Pontypool is seeking a Trainee Youth Support Worker to assist in delivering activities for young people in a youth club environment. The role requires no formal qualifications, but candidates must exhibit the ability to connect with young individuals and be open to youth work training. This is a part-time position, offering 8 hours per week over two evenings during term time, with potential for extension based on funding availability.
Salary: Hourly Rate: £13.69 - £14.35 | Grade 4

In Partnership with Pontypool Community Council, Torfaen Youth Service is looking for Trainee Youth Support Workers to support the delivery of a range of activities to young people in a youth club setting! Initially, this will be in the Pontypool area and then also Torfaen wide.
The candidates need to display the ability to build relationships with young people and deliver a range of opportunities alongside young people.
Part time, 8 hours per week over two evenings during term time, altering during holiday periods in response to young person designed activities.
Fixed Term for one year from commencement date with a view to extend should additional funding be secured.
No formal qualifications are required! There will be an expectation to undertake youth work training for the successful.
