We are partnering with a rapidly expanding IP services business to appoint an experienced Trade Markities Officer/Administrator. This role offers exposure to a wide range of brand portfolios and the opportunity to contribute to the development of efficient, high-quality support processes within a modern, fast-moving firm.

The role

You will join the firm’s trade mark support function, handling a broad scope of portfolio management tasks, including:

  • Creating and maintaining trade mark records
  • Preparing and filing applications
  • Managing onboarding, database updates and due-diligence checks
  • Reviewing and docketing incoming/outgoing correspondence and deadlines
  • Liaising with IP offices and international associates
  • Reporting to clients at all stages of prosecution
  • Supporting internal quality control and contributing to project-based work as required
Candidate profile

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has hands‑on experience with global trade mark formalities
  • Understands UK procedures (contentious and non‑contentious) and the IPO systems
  • Is confident managing their own workload and progressing cases proactively
  • Brings strong records‑management skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Works well independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team
  • (Optional) Has some exposure to design filings — beneficial but not essential
  • Enjoys improving processes and contributing ideas within a modern, forward‑thinking environment
