About the Role

We are looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join our fantastic West Midlands Technical team. The role will see you provide the link between design and on‑site construction by being the main point of contact for Technical issues within a Region. When appropriate to subsequently liaise with the Technical Team to ensure all matters are dealt with in a timely and cost effective way.

Responsibilities
  • To work closely within the Region to understand their Technical needs and to act as a key link back into the Central Technical Team to ensure workloads are prioritised and met
  • To help determine and manage consultant and sub‑contractor proposals in conjunction with the Technical team
  • To ensure all approvals are obtained and information received and issued to allow for a prompt start on site.
  • To make decisions on an Area and Regional level on all Technical matters
Requirements
  • Have experience as a Technical Coordinator with a housebuilder, consultancy or in a related field
  • To have an all‑round knowledge of technical issues including a good understanding of Building Regulations / NHBC standards
  • To be qualified to HND/HNC or degree level and /or have corporate membership of a recognised professional institute
  • To be able to input and help determine and manage consultant and sub‑contractor proposals in conjunction with the Technical team
