Team Lead Engineering - Developer Experience

Here's how you'll make a difference:

Shape and lead the Developer Experience (DevEx) function as a first-class internal platform, defining its mission, scope and operating model

Build a strong, inclusive team culture with sustainable delivery practices and clear ways of working

Enable engineering teams to ship faster and more reliably by improving developer workflows, tooling and standards

Drive adoption and evolution of a unified Design System across engineering and design, ensuring consistency and scalability

Translate company and engineering strategy into a clear, outcome-driven DevEx roadmap

Building strong partnerships with Product, Design, Security and other Platform teams to maximize impact across the organization

You have led and grown engineering teams

You bring strong people leadership experience and enjoy coaching, developing and growing engineers

You bring a technical background and can confidently set technical direction

You think in platforms and products, treating developers as your customers

You communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

You’re comfortable leading teams through ambiguity, turning strategy into execution and measurable outcomes

You’re familiar with - or excited to work with - the following areas:

Modern software engineering ecosystems (backend and/or frontend), e.g. Node.js, React, containerized applications

Cloud-native architectures and platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or similar

Developer workflows and tooling, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and GitHub-based workflows

Emerging AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot, workflow automation, developer agents)
