To bring experience and knowledge to meeting the student(s) needs.• To support the students in achieving agreed targets as outlined on their Learning Plans.• Taking into account the special needs involved, to support student progress across the curriculum:• To establish a supportive relationship with the student(s) concerned.• To write and develop student targets.• To assist students with completion of homework.• To encourage integration/inclusion of the student with SEND and or additional needs.• To develop methods of promoting/reinforcing the student’s self-esteem.• To provide support of a confidence nature for students with low self-image and esteem.• To complete Student Reviews for named students.Supporting the Teacher:• To assist the class teacher (and other professionals as appropriate) in the development of a suitable programme of support for the student(s) with SEND and or additional needs.• In conjunction with the class teacher and/or other professionals to record student progress.• To contribute to the maintenance of student records.• To undertake any other duties within the purview of the grade as directed by the SENCo.### Attachments### Safeguarding Statement:Sir Jonathan North and the Lionheart Educational Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
